Thursday evening found me back at the public Masters session at Stanley Pool, with TT in tow obviously up for her second bout of exercise in a week.
You may have noticed that the turn around times for this session were quite benign for EMSC 1.0 and I was holding a fairly steady 1:35 throughout the 100's.
I did mutter at him that the rest here was a bit of a novel concept.
TT assumed her now familiar position of hanging on my feet (that's of course when she wasn't otherwise engaged fixing her goggles or going to the loo.)
We went side by side for the final set of 25's and I was creaming her till the last 25 when she put a bit of a spurt on and beat me. God doesn't that just really get you mad. She also had the brass next to claim victory for the whole session despite the fact that she'd missed out at least 400 metres and it was 11:1 to me in the 1 length sprints.
Grrrrrr
